DO I NEED TO BE ON FACEBOOK?
You can complete the course without Facebook, but we encourage everyone to use the group as there is the much needed support and motivation here (although this is provided through the course videos too). Guidance for how to create a Facebook account to use the group and presentation is provided and you can always ask for extra help to do it.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE VIDEOS?
When you invest in Sunshine Brain, you will receive a username and password to log into the course anytime you want.
DO I HAVE TO START THE COURSE ON THE DUE DATE?
You can start the course at any time, but we will officially start at dates across the year so those who want to can complete the three weeks together and get maximum benefit from the Facebook Group support.
HOW LONG TO I GET TO COMPLETE THE COURSE?
You have life long membership so you can take as long as you wish.
WILL I BE ABLE TO ASK QUESTIONS?
Yes. We love questions. Ask them in the Facebook Group.
I AM ON MEDICATION/UNDER DOCTOR FOR MY MENTAL HEALTH
If you are on medication or under doctor’s supervision for mental health issues, we advise you to check with your doctor that they support you meditating. NHS England now runs meditation and mindfulness courses for mental health patients.
CAN I DO THIS WITH MY KIDS?
Yes, children love meditation and mindfulness. It is so beneficial for them and a lovely thing to do as a family.
CAN I PRINT OFF WORKBOOK?
Yes the PDFs and workbook are online, but you can print them off if you prefer.
I HAVE PURCHASED MEDITATION AUDIO FILES/COURSES BEFORE. WHY WILL THIS WORK?
The beauty of the Sunshine Brain is the support and motivation and workbooks that help you formulate a daily routine and schedule that works for you. If you use all the tools provided and follow the course throughly you will have a daily meditation programme you can use forever.
I HAVE NEVER MEDITATED BEFORE/CAN’T SIT STILL. CAN I DO IT?
Yes. This course works for total newbies or peeps that have given it a go but can’t nail down that regular routine. I designed the course for people who have struggled when trying to practice alone. There’s no need to sit still, especially not if you have ants in your pants!
WHY IS IT ONLINE
I have worked in the wellbeing field since 2008 on a 1-1 client basis. Over half my clients have been with me since then on a weekly basis. Creating a online community means I can help many more people which is my mission in life. Plus online is so much fun. You get to connect with peeps from all over the world.
